Intensive Outpatient Treatment
Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP) is a group focused, non-residential treatment for substance abusing adults. IOP is more intensive than traditional outpatient treatment services, offering 9-10 hours of treatment per week. Treatment typically lasts ten weeks, but varies with individual needs and participation. IOP classes meet three days per week. With intensive outpatient treatment, you have the support of your counselor and treatment peers as you navigate the everyday challenges of early recovery. Our personalized approach ensures your treatment plan addresses your specific needs day-to-day and week-to-week.
The Grove works in collaboration with the State of Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services to offer Intensive Outpatient Treatment at no cost to approved participants. The Grove also accepts BlueCare, TennCare Select, and all Blue Cross insurances for Intensive Outpatient Treatment. Intensive Outpatient Treatment is available for private-pay participants as well.
